Music Grant and Scholarship Programs – Free Money
There is billions of dollars in free college grants, and music grants are just one of the many programs that can help students get the money they need to pay for college. These funds are available to millions of American students through private foundations and some government grant programs, but most art students are not aware that they exist. Once obtained, though, this is money that may be used to purchase art supplies, course fees and other educational expenses.
The benefit of obtaining an art grant over a scholarship or student loan is that this is money that never has to be paid back. With a scholarship, you always lose the risk of losing your scholarship by not meeting the qualifications, and student loans have to be repaid when you graduate or are no longer a full-time student. Art grants, on the other hand, never have to be repaid, and once approved they can often be obtained over and over again.

The Reality Behind Getting a College Scholarship Or College Grant
You need to come face to face with the reality that a college education is expensive, and you are going to have a very difficult financial time paying for that college education without a college scholarship or grant. That is reality and the sooner you realize that, the better off you will be to do what you need to do to lessen that huge financial burden.
Let’s also face another reality – skipping the college education is definitely not an option! In today’s very competitive job market, having that college degree is something that is going to keep you in the race for being given that job, and without the degree, there is just too much competition to take you seriously.

Finding Scholarship Funding
Need Scholarship Funding
So you need funding for college but you have been getting the run around? Sound like your situation? Well there are a few things that you need to look out for to avoid getting the run around from useless websites loaded with useless information. Stay away from a scholarship website that has a pop up immediately asking you to sign up for a free offer, as soon as you visit the webpage. Avoid websites that charge you a fee to access their “College Funding Database” or Scholarship Database. As an educator I feel obligated to provide free information for academic advancement to everyone including my students. I went to college for free and I am currently going to Graduate school for free. I want you to do the same thing without paying one cent for information!
College Funding Provided by Employers
Are you currently employed and wanting to go to school? Well you may not know that your employer may be willing to pay for your college with funding that they have set aside. I found this out before I was even hired at my job. My job is under a organization called CREC. My job has a partnership with the college (Saint Josephs College) where I attend grad school. So I get a tuition waiver for courses. However Crec has tuition reimbursement, as most jobs do. The deal is that I have to work for 2 years for CREC and they will pay for my college tuition or reimburse me for it all! Isn’t that wonderful, you bet your scholarship. Anyhow most employees don’t even realize that their job will reimburse them for going to school. And if you are a teacher you get a lot more tuition breaks and college benefits. There are programs that will pay for your college if you agree to teach for a few years in an Urban School. I currently teach in an urban school and it is wonderful. I actually grew up in the same city where I am currently working and I definitely feel like I am giving back to the community. I feel the same way when I provide this information for anyone who wants to further their education. Going to college is a big step but going to college for free is a Great Step!
